About Me

I am an optical/mechanical engineer living in central Florida with my wonderful wife, two bunnies, and a pile of bees.  I have many hobbies and like to engage in crafts that get me doing things outside of work.  I created this blog to help document all my various projects that normally get scattered across the internet.  This isn’t as much of a “How To” blog as it is for me to keep track of where I am and where I have come from in my skills.  My hobbies include:

  • Cooking
  • Woodworking
  • Home Renovations
  • Armor Smithing
  • CNC milling
  • Other crafty things that look fun and interesting

I like being creative, trying new things, and sharing my discoveries.  Below are a few quotes that really mean a lot to me and are words I try to live by.

"Take chances, make mistakes, get messy!" - Ms. Frizzle
"Improvise, Adapt and Overcome" - Unofficial Marine Motto
"Always be prepared" - Boy Scout Motto
"Love people. Cook them good food." - Unknown. I like good vs. tasty
"We aren't lost, we are on an adventure!" - Chase
